Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, owned by Danaher Corporation, a Fortune 500 science and technology innovator headquartered in the United States, celebrated the rollout of its first Biomek automated workstation manufactured in China on Oct 21.
This achievement marks the completion of a fully localized system for the company’s automation product line—from R&D and production to sales and service, and also represents a significant milestone in Danaher’s localization in the life science automation sector.

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences set up a branch in SIP’s BioBAY in 2014, currently with an integrated R&D, manufacturing and service facility that provides multiple lines of devices and reagents to users across the world.
The new Biomek workstation features flexible modular design and precision performance, supporting diverse applications from high-throughput screening to liquid handling. By leveraging localized R&D, production and technical support, it combines global standards with the “China speed”, ensuring faster delivery, responsive services and tailored support to accelerate scientific and industrial innovations.
